29 Card Game (“the Game”) is the Bangladeshi trick-taking card game Twenty-Nine, played against computer players or with friends on the same Wi-Fi network. It is developed by sadid.dev (“we”). This policy explains what information the Game handles, where it goes, and the choices you have.
In short: the Game has no accounts and no servers of its own. Your game data stays on your device. The only data that leaves your device for a company is what Google’s advertising service, AdMob, collects to show ads in the Android version.
| Information | Where it goes | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your settings, statistics, the match in progress, and the player name you type (optional) | Stored only on your device | To remember your choices and let you resume a match |
| Your player name and your moves in a Wi-Fi match | Sent directly to the other players’ devices on your local network, only while you host or join a match | To play together; your name is shown at your seat |
| Advertising ID, IP address (approximate location), device and app information, ad interactions, diagnostics | Collected by Google AdMob (Android only) | Showing ads, measuring them, and preventing fraud (Section 5) |
The Game saves one file in its private app storage on your device. It contains:
This file is never sent to us or to any server by the Game. You can reset your statistics in Stats → Reset stats, change your name from the Name chip on the title screen, and delete everything by uninstalling the Game or clearing its data in Android Settings (on Windows: uninstall it from Settings → Apps → Installed apps). If you have turned on Android’s own device backup, Android may include this file in the backup to your Google account; that backup is controlled by you and Google, not by us.
When you choose Play with friends, the Game connects to other devices on the same local network (Wi-Fi or a phone’s hotspot). It does not use the internet for this and it does not go through any server of ours.
The Android version is free and shows ads served by Google AdMob: banners on the title screen, the pause menu and the match-end screen; occasional full-screen ads between deals (never during a hand); and an optional rewarded video that gives you 30 minutes without ads. The Game never shows ads in a tutorial lesson or a Wi-Fi match.
To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and sends to Google:
We do not receive this data in a form that identifies you; we only see aggregated reports in AdMob. Learn how Google uses information from apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your choices:
The Windows version (Microsoft Store) shows no ads and never contacts an ad network; Google’s advertising SDK is not part of it.
The Game uses no analytics service, no crash-reporting service of its own, no social login and no in-app purchases.
The Game does not ask for or collect your real name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, camera, microphone or precise location, and it has no accounts. We do not sell your information.
| Permission | Used for |
|---|---|
| Internet, network state, Wi-Fi state | Wi-Fi multiplayer on your local network, and loading ads |
| Wi-Fi multicast | Finding games hosted on your local network |
| Advertising ID, ad services (added by the Google Mobile Ads SDK) | Ads, as in Section 5 |
| Wake lock, foreground service (added by the Google Mobile Ads SDK’s background work library) | Google’s SDK’s own background tasks; the Game itself runs no background service |
Windows: the Game declares network access (internet client, private networks) for Wi-Fi multiplayer only. The first time you host a game, Windows may ask whether to allow the Game on your network; it needs this so friends’ devices can join. The Windows version has no ads and asks for no other permission.
We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete. Data on your device is removed when you uninstall the Game or clear its data. Data collected by Google for advertising is kept and deleted under Google’s policies; you can manage it with your advertising ID settings and your Google account. If you have a question, write to sadid.jones@gmail.com.
The Game is a traditional card game for teenagers and adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, contact us and we will help.
The Game’s save file is kept in the app’s private storage, which other apps cannot read. Data sent by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Wi-Fi multiplayer traffic stays on your local network and is not encrypted, so play on networks you trust. No system is completely secure.
We may update this policy when the Game changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects what data is collected, we will update this page before that version of the Game is released.
